    Looking for a sign

Many of you don't know who I am, or probably who I am going to ask about.  I am Dona Hoffstetter Lewis...I am the late, Tom Hoffstetter's daughter.  Several years ago my dad was the president of SPARKS and did many things for your club.  My brother, husband and son all learned to fly their planes there.  Our entire family spent many, many days there.  When my father became sick, the wonderful club, named the field in his honor and placed a sign on the look-out tower...HOFFSTETTER FIELD.  We used to be able to see if from the road, I have not been that way in awhile, so I don't know if it is there or not.  If someone could tell me...I would appreciate it.  If the sign is not there, I would love more than anything, to come and get it and hang it in my mothers garage...I think my dad would like that.

So, please let me know and we can make arrangements for me to come pick it up.  I know there are still several of you there that knew my dad...and I think you know how honored he felt when you did this.  He was very proud!

    Thank you,

    Dona Hoffstetter Lewis

    Dona

My name is Tom Elder.  I am the son of Ken Elder.  I knew all of the boys very well and they are all missed greatly.  We moved the sign up to the top of the pavillion when we had the shed placed on its current location.  As far as i know that is where it is residing.  Anytime that any of the guys would like to come back out to the field i would be glad to take the time with any of them.

    Thank You

    Tom Elder (CFI)
