About Dan T. Sharp
I have been flying RC Planes since I was 11 until 18 years old. I then began to take lessons in full scale planes and couldn't afford both, so I quit RC to pursue my love of aviation as a professional pilot. I took all private training with my first job as a corporate pilot after a few months as an instructor to build time. I had a Captains rating in a Hawker Siddley jet at 21 years old. A Captains rating in a B-727 at 27 years old, and then just various jets and turbo-props through out my career. I retired at 39 and that is when I returned to model building and flying RC Planes.
